01 · In short

What T6 does, and why

Every weekend, T6 brings six strangers together for dinner or brunch at a restaurant we select. Members take a short quiz, our algorithm matches each table, and every seat is paid for in advance at one fixed price.

Why people want it

A city of newcomers

Dubai added 332,000 residents last year, many of them new to the city. 27% of UAE adults say they felt lonely for much of the previous day.

Why venues want it

Residents, paid in advance

UAE dine-in revenue fell in early 2026, mostly because of fewer tourists. T6 brings restaurants residents, six at a time, with every seat paid in advance.

Why now

The habit already exists

Timeleft recorded 3,380 bookings for dinners with strangers in Dubai in September 2026. T6 turns that habit into a weekend night out, with the venue chosen and the bill settled.

Raising USD 150,000 for 15%AED 551,000Enough to reach break-even in month 11 with no further funding. The product is already live.

What people pay today

04 · The product

How T6 works

Members take a short quiz once. Every week after that, our algorithm builds the tables, a curator checks them, and what members tell us after each night improves the next round of matching.

  1. 1

    Eight questions

A three-minute quiz on how a person likes to spend an evening. It scores five traits: openness, energy, depth, humour and adventure. No photos or profiles.

  2. 2

    The algorithm seats six

Our matching algorithm builds each table from the quiz scores, keeping ages within ten years and balancing men and women. A curator on the team checks every table.

  3. 3

    Tuesday, 6:00 PM

Each member gets an invite on WhatsApp with the night, the venue and the price. Who else is coming stays a surprise.

  4. 4

    Pay to confirm

Members pay within 24 hours to hold their seat. Unpaid seats go to people on standby, so every table is full.

  5. 5

    The night

Friday or Saturday dinner, or weekend brunch, at a venue T6 has selected, with the table package already paid.

  6. 6

    The morning after

Each member rates the night and says who they would sit with again. Those answers shape who the algorithm seats together next.

The learning loop

Every “sit with again” brings compatible members closer in future matching, and every rating shows which traits make a good table. We tune the algorithm as this data grows, so matching improves with every weekend T6 runs. That data is hard for a newcomer to copy.

USD 81 to 190AED 299 to 699

05 · Competition

How T6 is different from Timeleft

Timeleft is an app that matches strangers for dinner in cities around the world, including Dubai. It proves the demand. T6 is designed around the problems its members raise most often in reviews.

What is already built

The product works end to end today. The investment round pays for members and venues, not for building software.

  • Members can sign up, take the quiz and get matched
  • The algorithm proposes every table and a curator approves it

07 · Restaurants

Why restaurants sign up

Restaurants need residents. UAE dine-in revenue fell 6.5% in early 2026, and 70% of that fall was tourists.

Paid covers

Six seats paid before the night and the headcount confirmed 48 hours ahead, so no-shows never cost the venue.

New residents

Matched groups who live here, many of them first-time guests.

Repeat visits

Members get a discount at partner venues when they come back with their own friends.

Promotion

Featured in the Tuesday invite, with launch tables for new menus.

08 · Money

What T6 earns on each seat

T6 sells the seat and pays the venue. On an average USD 106 seat, T6 keeps about USD 18, and a member pays back what it cost to win them in under three months.

What T6 gets

Campaigns run in-house

T6’s member campaigns are planned, bought and optimised on the Curio:City Platform by the team that runs it, with every dirham tracked.

Content made in-house

Curio:City’s creative suite produces T6’s video, photography and social content, using generative AI and its own production team.

Technology already built

The same team built T6’s website, matching and payments, and runs the workflows and CRM behind its weekly operations.

Doors already open

Working relationships with restaurants and venues across Dubai, and a practical read of how residents in the UAE, GCC and India spend, book and go out.

This is why T6 can run with a team of three, and why the investment goes to members and venues rather than salaries and software.

Risks and how we manage them

Booking and retention rates are not yet proven

Launch spend is released month by month, and new cities open only from profit. If bookings are slower, the slower plan in the appendix still breaks even within the round.

Licences and tax in each new country

Dubai runs under an events and ticketing licence. Each new country is registered locally before it opens.

Dubai is 68.5% male

Women are recruited first, and the women-only table has a woman on the team as its named contact.

Timeleft adds a paid tier

Venue packages, a licence and pre-paid tables take months to copy. T6 is already built around weekend nights and brunch.

Regional events reduce going out

The model is built on residents, not tourists, who drove most of this year’s dine-in fall.

17 · Structure

How the company is set up

T6 is a separate company with its own IP. Curio:City is the majority shareholder and supplies the team, technology, venues and media.

Holding company. Sits above the Dubai operating company, which holds the events and ticketing licence.
IP in T6. Platform, brand, domain and WhatsApp number belong to the company.
Services agreement. Curio:City’s services are set out in writing and given in kind in year one.

What it costs to win a paying member

T6 finds members through ads on Instagram and TikTok. This is what happens to every 1,000 people who click an ad.

1,000

About USD 1,090 spent on ads, divided by about 21.5 members who book and pay. In AED: about AED 186 per paying member.

Cost per click from Meta’s UAE benchmarks, Jul 2025 to Jul 2026. Quiz rates from published quiz benchmarks. The last step, how many members book, is the one figure nobody publishes, so it is the first figure we will measure.
